Meet Carol Rodd
Helping people find clarity, confidence, and a path forward through compassionate support, practical guidance, and proven experience.
Helping People Has Always Been My Purpose
If there is one thread that has connected every stage of my career, it is a genuine passion for helping people reach their potential.
Whether I have been supporting children and families through counseling, leading schools, mentoring educational leaders, or coaching individuals toward healthier lifestyles, I have always believed that meaningful change begins with listening, understanding, and building trusting relationships.
Life doesn’t always unfold as we expect. We all experience seasons of uncertainty, unexpected challenges, and moments when we simply need someone who understands.
That belief is what inspired me to create A Path Forward PLLC.
My goal is simple: to provide a welcoming, supportive environment where people feel heard, encouraged, and equipped to move forward with confidence.
A Career Built on Making a Difference
For more than two decades, I have had the privilege of serving individuals, families, students, educators, and school communities.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families, helping them navigate anxiety, grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, and many of life’s unexpected obstacles.
My career in education allowed me to combine my passion for people with my love of learning. As a school principal, I served students from Pre-K through high school in schools across two counties, each with its own unique challenges and opportunities.
Throughout my leadership career, our schools consistently met or exceeded academic growth expectations. One achievement I remain especially proud of was leading a school from a D rating to a C rating, successfully removing it from the state’s Low Performing School List.
I also had the privilege of leading the design and implementation of a successful dual language program. While it was very much a team effort, I am proud of what we accomplished together in creating new opportunities for students, families, and educators.
Those experiences reinforced something I have carried throughout my career: lasting success is never the result of one person. It comes from building strong relationships, creating a shared vision, empowering others, and celebrating success together.
Being proficient in Spanish has also allowed me to connect more effectively with diverse school communities, strengthening communication and building trust with students, parents, and staff.
Looking back, what I value most is not the success, but the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Wellness Is More Than a Profession. It's a Way of Life.
Wellness has been an important part of my life for many years.
Long before I began coaching others, I was challenging myself to become healthier, stronger, and more resilient.
I became a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and completed the Primal Health Coaching Course because I wanted to better understand how sustainable lifestyle changes can improve both physical and emotional well-being.
Over the years, I have challenged myself through endurance events including a full Ironman, eight Half Ironman and Iron Distance races, three marathons, numerous half marathons, endurance trekking, and long-distance hiking adventures.
Today, I continue to coach individuals as they pursue ambitious personal goals, whether they are training for endurance events, preparing for multi-day treks, or simply working toward a healthier and more active lifestyle.
Those experiences have reinforced something I believe wholeheartedly.
Success is rarely about talent or perfection.
It is built through consistency, support, and having someone alongside you who believes in your ability to keep moving forward, even when the journey feels difficult.
That philosophy shapes every wellness coaching relationship I have today.
What I Believe
Over the years, I have also learned an important lesson about success.
Earlier in my career, I was always striving for the next goal, the next challenge, and the next achievement. While those experiences helped shape who I am today, they also taught me that a full life is not measured simply by what we accomplish.
Today, I believe true success comes from living with purpose, nurturing meaningful relationships, and caring for both our physical and emotional well-being.
That perspective influences everything I do.
I believe people deserve to feel heard before they are offered advice.
I believe meaningful change happens when people feel safe enough to be honest about where they are.
I believe everyone has strengths, even when they struggle to recognize them.
Most importantly, I believe no one should have to navigate life’s challenges alone.
My Approach
Every person who reaches out to me has a unique story.
There is no single solution that works for everyone, which is why I take the time to understand your experiences, your goals, and the challenges you are facing before recommending a path forward.
Whether we are working together through counseling, educational leadership support, or wellness coaching, my role is not to provide all the answers.
My role is to listen, ask thoughtful questions, share practical guidance, and help you discover the confidence and clarity to move forward in a way that feels right for you.
Together, we will focus on meaningful progress, celebrating each step along the journey.

Beyond My Professional Life
Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time with family, staying active, and continuing to learn.
